The finished model stands over 31 cm high on an ice-shaped base. At 16 cm wide and 8 cm deep, it can fit a fairly shallow shelf, but the shelf above may be the limiting factor. Give the face space to be seen instead of tucking it beneath a low cabinet.
The film references matter
The green and yellow suit establishes the character; the maple syrup bottle, candy canes and puffin make the scene more particular to Elf. That makes this a better choice for someone who’ll recognize the jokes than for someone who simply wants another Santa for a village.
