Choose this bridge if you want Kirk’s crew in their workplace and enjoy using small scene mechanisms. At 57 cm wide and 34 cm deep, the low model needs a broad surface, even though it stands only 9 cm tall.
A good fit for: Adult fans of Star Trek: The Original Series who want crew scenes and interactive rooms.
Choose the crew and era first
Kirk, Spock, Uhura, Sulu, McCoy, Chekov, Chapel and Scott are included, along with four tribbles. This set recreates the NCC-1701 bridge from The Original Series. Enterprise-D 10356 instead depicts the starship associated with The Next Generation and Picard’s crew. The shared Enterprise name doesn’t make them the same subject.
The room functions need to stay accessible
A dial operates the transporter, a lever opens the turbolift doors and the captain’s chair rocks to suggest turbulence. Those features suit someone who will return to the model and arrange scenes. Its modular sections can be positioned as a display rather than left as an untouched ship silhouette.
Measure width and depth together
The bridge measures over 9 cm high, 57 cm wide and 34 cm deep. A low shelf may accommodate the height but still be too shallow. Mark out that rectangle and check the viewing angle, since much of the interest is in looking down into the room.
