The verdict

I did not expect a 382 piece playset to get me right in the chest, but here we are, because this is the actual Brisbane Queenslander from the show, cut open so little hands can play through every room.

It is built for the fans who already know exactly where the trampoline should go and what the pantry looks like, not for adults chasing a display piece. If you or your kid has watched Bluey on repeat, this lands, the family figures alone make it worth opening the box. I will be honest, the first time I saw this box in a store I almost walked past it thinking it was another generic playset. Then I clocked the porch, the jacaranda tree out front, and the unmistakable roofline, and I realized someone at LEGO actually sat down and watched the show before designing this. It is the Heeler family home from Bluey, opened up like a dollhouse so every room, the kitchen, the parents' bedroom, the girls' shared room, is playable from the front. That is the whole appeal here, and it works.

The catch

Where I have to be straight with you is the value math. At 382 pieces this sits at a price point where you would expect more plastic in a typical LEGO set, and the build itself is quick, more about snapping large wall and furniture pieces into place than any clever technique. A few reviewers online noted their kids had the whole thing built inside twenty minutes and were playing within the hour, which is either exactly what you want from a preschooler's first big set or a letdown if you were hoping for a weekend project.

Bandit, Chilli, Bluey and Bingo are all done as their own dog shaped figures unique to this theme rather than repainted human minifigs, and that alone is what people are buying the set for.
