The Birthday Cupcake leans into its frosting shape with layered brick rings that fan outward to fake the look of a piped swirl, topped off with a candle piece that gives the whole thing a warm little focal point. It photographs well too, which matters more than people admit for a set that is basically made to sit out and be seen.

The catch

I will be honest about the size, 174 pieces goes fast, and if you are used to bigger seasonal builds this one will feel over before you have really settled in.
