LEGO Super Mario sets, biggest first

The Super Mario theme covers two very different kinds of LEGO® sets. The adult side gives you display builds like The Mighty Bowser and the working Nintendo Entertainment System, complete with a crankable TV. The kid side is the interactive course system, where an electronic Mario figure reacts to what you build.

Both kinds appear below, sorted by piece count. One honest warning about the course sets: they shine when a kid owns several and keeps rebuilding new levels, and feel thin as a single one-off purchase. The display builds have no such caveat. The NES in particular is one of the cleverest sets of the past decade.
