The verdict

I love a small set that still gives you a real scene, and the Pizza Truck does that.

You get a rolling kitchen, a little serving window, and enough pizza toppings and props to run a whole afternoon of pretend orders. It will not challenge an experienced builder for more than half an hour, and that is fine, because that is not who it is for. This is a set for a kid who wants a finished world in their hands fast, and for that job it does its work well.

Best for: younger builders who want a quick, playable food-truck scene rather than a long technical build

What it is

The Pizza Truck is the kind of set that does not try to be clever, it just tries to be fun, and I respect that. It is a small rolling kitchen dressed up as a food truck, with a serving hatch, a little oven, and enough pizza pieces to keep a kid busy taking orders long after the last brick clicks into place. It is the kind of set you hand to someone who wants to play the same afternoon they open the box.

The catch

I will be honest about the tradeoffs. At under 200 pieces, this is not a build that will occupy an experienced fan for an evening, it is done in well under an hour. The truck's footprint is small too, so do not expect the kind of sprawling detail you get in Friends' bigger street and cafe sets. And because this is a fresh 2026 release, I do not yet have the kind of long-term price history or retirement data I like to hand you before you buy.

Get this one for a younger builder who wants a complete, playable scene fast, or for a Friends collector rounding out a town with vehicles. Skip it if you are shopping for a weekend project or a display centerpiece, this is a quick, cheerful build, not a slow one.

Building the Pizza Truck is a short, satisfying sit-down. The cab and chassis go together first, then the back opens up into the actual kitchen, counter, oven, and serving window, which is where the set earns its keep. It is built for a younger pair of hands to move through cleanly, section by section, without ever feeling stuck.

The fun here is in the food pieces, the little pizza and topping elements that turn a plain truck shell into a scene you can actually play out.
