Choose it for the shared feeding activity
Pick berries from the tree, put them in the machine and turn its rotor to prepare a smoothie. Bulbasaur and Bidoof each contain a SMART Tag. For a collection that already has Pikachu's training house, the useful addition is the pair of Pokémon and the food-making prop, rather than a new source of SMART hardware.
Feeding, performing or facing an opponent?
Pikachu 72164 includes its own sandwich-feeding activity, so choose Berry Bash when adding Bulbasaur, Bidoof and the smoothie preparation matters. Jigglypuff 72159 changes the activity to a concert with one Pokémon. The Paldean trio 72158 is the alternative for choosing different opponents. For a child who likes looking after characters, Berry Bash gives the two Pokémon a shared routine instead of adding another contest.
What it requires
The 240-piece set is rated 7+. A compatible SMART Brick from an All-in-One set is required for responsive sounds and lights; neither a brick nor a charger is included. Older SMART Bricks need the Pokémon firmware update. The announced launch markets are the US, UK, Germany, France, Poland and Australia, with Canada outside that rollout.
