Is this the set for you?
Choose 72158 to add all three Paldean first partners to an existing SMART Play collection. The three figures and three SMART Tags provide character variety, but no SMART Brick or charger is supplied.
A good fit for: Existing SMART Play owners who want to swap among Grass, Fire and Water first partners.
Three partners change the matchup choice
Sprigatito is Grass-type, Fuecoco is Fire-type and Quaxly is Water-type. A spinning wheel helps choose opponents, while Sprigatito's tail, Fuecoco's arms and Quaxly's wings and feet move. Choose this over another two-character battle set when changing the pair of opponents is the activity the child wants.
Three figures offer three pairings
Three Pokémon give three different pairs: Sprigatito against Fuecoco, Sprigatito against Quaxly, or Fuecoco against Quaxly. The wheel helps choose the next encounter. Umbreon and Garchomp 72165 offers one fixed pair with a trophy, while Charizard and Jolteon 72167 supplies one pair plus two SMART Bricks and a charger. Choose the trio for changing the opponents when the powered hardware is already available.
Plan the hardware separately
The 313-piece, 8+ Compatible set includes three SMART Tags and no SMART Brick or charger. A compatible SMART Brick from an All-in-One set is required for responsive play, with the Pokémon update required for older bricks. The announced launch markets are the US, UK, Germany, France, Poland and Australia; Canada is outside that rollout.
