The verdict

This is the kind of set I hand to someone who wants a complete little scene, not a marathon.

It builds fast, it looks like an actual living room the second the sofa and screen click together, and it costs about what you'd spend on a movie ticket. I would not buy this expecting a showpiece for a display wall of Modulars, but I would absolutely buy it as a palate cleanser between bigger builds or as a first set for a kid who wants to finish something in one sitting. It is small and it knows it, and honestly that is fine.

I like what small Friends sets are for. They are the ones you actually finish, and this one gave me that same little rush of a completed scene in well under an hour. It is built around a cozy hangout moment, the kind of set that fills the gap between a big Heartlake City build and an empty corner of the shelf, and it does that job well.

The catch

I will be honest about the ceiling here. At 154 pieces this is not going to wow anyone with clever engineering or a rare printed part, and once you have built it there is not a lot left to discover.
